The battery module,
At present, there is no unified vehicle voltage standard in all countries in the world, and the voltage adopted by the major new energy vehicle enterprises is different. Car companies like BYD use low, medium and high multiple voltage platforms of new energy vehicles, high voltage can reach 690V, and the instantaneous pulse can reach more than 80OV. Therefore, if the flame retardant material is not used, once the voltage breakdown or high temperature, can lead to the vehicle leakage or spontaneous combustion and other accidents. Therefore, the flame retardant material has become the first choice of battery module cladding.
The battery case can generally be used: casting steel plate, aluminum alloy, SMC composite material (i.e., sheet moulding plastic), carbon fiber reinforced composite material, long glass fiber flame retardant reinforced polypropylene material, 35% long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP-LGF35), etc.
